There are those who refuse to make New Year’s Resolutions, arguing that they have not been able to keep them in the past. But consider this: failure is not defined by unsuccessful attempts but by the choice to stop trying. Anyone who has wrestled with a deeply entrenched habit of thought or behavior and finally dislodged it knows that we only experience that joy of freedom after many, many unsuccessful attempts.

The New Year provides us with a wonderful opportunity to reflect on what is most important to us, to identify those areas where our lives are out of alignment with our deepest values, to forgive ourselves and extend forgiveness to others, and to begin again.

Filled with hope and resolve, may we welcome all of the incredible possibilities of this New Year. Have a great week, everyone!
