This is a mindfulness-based group approach to empower and support you in learning how to be present and to practice self-compassion. Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and the surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.
Grieving is a uniquely personal experience and many people find comfort, hope and strength by coming together with others to remember loved ones.
While grief is a highly individualized experience, participation in a support group often helps the healing begin. We try to keep these groups small, 15 people – so that everyone can fully participate and benefit from the sessions.
