Our technological advances have been increasing exponentially and have resulted in some pretty amazing applications from the Internet to travel through space to eradicating diseases which once plagued our lives. But what truly amazes me is our capacity to transform anger and fear into love, greed into generosity, sloth into discipline, and self-centeredness into other-centeredness. As Gandhi once said, “As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world, as in being able to remake ourselves.” What adventure could be more exciting?
What goal could be more important?
May we be dedicated today and every day to creating a better version of ourselves than existed the day before.
