From missed handshakes and hugs to empty movie theaters and concert halls, favorite restaurants and family birthday celebrations, to people who have been laid off or the people who suit up and take care of the sick; this virus has disrupted our lives in so many ways. Teacher and workshop leader Patricia Campbell Carlson brings some clarity to the confusing combination of feelings we are experiencing, “Grief and gratitude are kindred souls, each pointing to the beauty of what is transient and given to us by grace.”
As we continue to live in these challenging circumstances, may we allow ourselves to feel and express both our grief and our gratitude.
Have a great week, everyone!
