You Can Make a Difference

High school students, ages 14–18 and either live in, or attend school in Pinellas County, are eligible to become an Empath Health volunteer. By volunteering, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people of all ages and walks of life.

Brighten the day of patients by helping to record their life stories, celebrate a special occasion, or provide companionship; help out at one of our Resale Shops; share your organizational or computer skills in one of our administrative offices; bake cookies or make crafts for patients.

To learn more about the Empath Health Teen Volunteer Program, please call:

Before registering for volunteer training, teens are required to contact the teen volunteer program coordinator nearest to their home and/or school to set up an interview. Once you call, your regional teen volunteer program coordinator will fill you in on the steps you need to take to become a teen volunteer.

Empath Health offers teen volunteer opportunities throughout Pinellas County. Volunteer in your community, receive community service hours and make a difference. Opportunities are available throughout our integrated network of care.
