Transformation is hard work. It often involves sweat and struggle and frustrating setbacks before you become what you hope to be. But people tend to want to hear about results, not struggles. As Maya Angelou once said, “We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” Remember though, so often it is the goal that demands the most from us that is sweetest to accomplish. The greatest things are usually not easily attained.
May we be willing to engage the struggle to create beauty.
