Suncoast Hospice Director of Spiritual Care Jim Andrews

I was teaching a class once about the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator when it became clear that one of the students was having a breakthrough in understanding. She said, “So THAT’S why that person annoys me so much!!” It is actually one of the central insights into exploring human personality – many of the struggles we have with others arise from the fact that we see things in different ways and from different perspectives – and that’s a GOOD thing. Like a wise person once said, “It’s not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.”

Have a great week, everyone!

Jim
