Clothes at the resale shopThe resale market for fashion and other items is booming. But what if there was a place you could find unique items and trendy designer fashions for a fraction of retail and online resale prices while helping your community?

The Suncoast Hospice Resale Shops are just that place.

Everything donated or purchased at one of our stores stays local and supports people cared for by Suncoast Hospice and the members of Empath Health. This means we can help cover the costs of care for those unable to afford care or fund extra programs that further support and improve the quality of life for those we serve. Additionally, any Empath Health patient, client or participant who has an unmet need can get items free of charge from our Resale Shops.

Whether you shop, donate or volunteer, it’s easy to help support our mission of care.

Empath Health depends on community support of our Suncoast Hospice Foundation, which includes our resale shops. These critical funds help us provide care for everyone in our community, regardless of their ability to pay.

When you shop or donate items to our resale shops, you’re supporting:

  • Hospice care
  • Home health care
  • Senior care and support services
  • Palliative care
  • Grief support services
  • Community outreach, advance care planning, counseling and support groups
  • Special programs for pregnancy/infant loss, pet care, children and veterans
  • Care for people who cannot pay

To donate, drop off items at any of our three convenient locations. We’re also glad to pick up any large or heavy items you cannot move on your own. Call us at (727) 286-4483 to schedule a pick-up. Please note drop-off hours are from 9 am–4:30 pm.

Volunteer

Resale Shop volunteersOur Resale Shops rely almost exclusively on adult and teen volunteers and are supported by business groups’ service projects. To keep our stores running and provide exceptional customer service, volunteers assist as a cashier, by accepting/handling donations at the back doors, sorting and pricing merchandise, creating displays, testing small electronics and many other small retail/resale duties. Training is provided at no cost to volunteers.

Our Resale Shops are open in Clearwater, Countryside and St. Petersburg, Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Thank you for caring about our community with your donations, purchases and volunteer support. You all make a difference.
