August 30 Update: With Empath’s first priority is the safety of our patients, clients, participants, colleagues and volunteers. While the storm has passed our service area, we anticipate additional hardship with the pending high tides and storm surges. We continue to operate from a place of extreme caution and will reopen all Empath Health facilities on Thursday, August 31.
- All Empath Health administration buildings will be closed beginning at Noon Tues., August 29 and will reopen following being cleared by Empath facility teams.
- Suncoast PACE Adult Day Center and Medical Clinic will be closed Tues., August 29 and will reopen following being cleared by Empath facility teams.
- EPIC’s offices/campuses/Sexual Health Centers in Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa will be closed beginning at Noon Tues., August 29 and will reopen following being cleared by Empath facility teams. Scheduled EPIC Generations programming on Tuesday in St. Petersburg is cancelled.
- All bereavement/grief groups scheduled to meet August 29 and 30 are cancelled. Call your respective grief or hospice bereavement program with questions.
- Suncoast Hospice Resale Shops and Tidewell Treasures stores will be closed Tues., August 29 and will reopen following being cleared by Empath facility teams.
- All Empath Health volunteers are being asked to remain home Tues., August 29 and Wed., August 30. Further communication will come from your volunteer coordinators with the all clear to return.
- Tidewell Grief Care’s International Overdose Awareness Day event, scheduled for August 31, has been rescheduled for October 1. More information will be provided soon.
