Amelia Earhart was an American Aviation pioneer and author. Earhart was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She received the United States Distinguished Flying Cross for this accomplishment. One of her enduring quotes is, “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” Her life inspires us to dream big, to commit to a worthy goal, and to summon from within us an unwavering determination to see it to completion.
