The WGN is a philanthropic group that supports the members of Empath Health, including Suncoast Hospice. Members join for a minimum of two years and donate a minimum of $1,000 annually.
The WGN distributed more than $18,000 in grants to fund 10 projects for Empath Health. In addition to the distribution pool, Network members contributed an additional $20,161 to expand funding for several projects bringing the total distributions to $38,161. In just two years, Empath Health’s WGN has provided $47,161 for much-needed patient and family care in Pinellas County. Read the Tampa Bay Newspaper full release.
