One of the subtle dangers of our time is the gradual infiltration of negative and pessimistic thoughts about the state of things which skew our perspective, sap our vital energy, and whisper in our ear that our efforts cannot have an impact. Bulgarian-born writer, Maria Popova puts it this way, “In its passivity and resignation, cynicism is a hardening, a calcification of the soul. Hope is a stretching of its ligaments, a limber reach for something greater.”

May we continue to reach and stretch, to choose hope, to re-dedicate ourselves today and every day to doing the work for a better tomorrow.

Have a great week, everyone!
